Transportation

DCIA is well connected by a network of roads including the Doha-Al Wakrah highway. The proposed Doha Metro is soon said to link DCIA. Taxis are conviniently available everywhere in Doha and Al Wakrah. Taxis can also be hired at the airport. In additon , we also operate 'AeroXpress' shuttle bus services to Al Wakrah and Mesaieed free of cost.

Please note that Karwa Public bus also operates buses to the airport bus station.

 

Car Rentals

Car Rental desks can be found in and out the terminal. The car rental station is located adjacent to transit hotel. This is where you must Pick up and leave your car.

Tourist Info Desks

Tourist Information Desks are conviniently located to help our guests know more about Doha. This service is especially for tourists who just arrived at Qatar.

 

Check In

Checking In is in Passenger Terminal of DCIA. Recommended Check In times are:

• 1 hour before Middle-eastern Regional Flights.
• 2 or 3 Hours before International Flights.

We offer various methods of Checking In.

Staffed Check In: We offer the traditional method of Check In. Just handover your ticket and  passport with your Check In baggage at the respective Check in counter and what's more ? You will be heading straight for Immigration and security.

Self Check In: Self Check In stands are available. This service is provided by all airlines that fly To/From our airport.

Online Check In: Online Check facility In is provided by all airlines except charters.

Fastrack Check In: For passengers with heavy baggage or for passengers who arrived 'Late' for their flight , we provide our dedicated Fastrack Check In. Just handover your passport and your ticket to our Check In staff's and they will check you in.

Please note that Check In counters close 30 minutes before Departure and boarding gates close 15 minutes before Departure.
